I have eaten here many many times in my life and the food never disappoints. Always consistent and great sized portions and all is delicious!! Great home cooked meals and the coconut cream and chocolate cream pie are to die for!

We went here because we used to live in St. Stephen and it was a corner store and we were curious. Very plain, service friendly and very relaxed. Food was fantastic. Prices higher than you would expect in that environment but quality of food made it fine.

Turkey soup was delicious, but the lobster roll was more like a mayo and celery roll. The service was good, and the food was served in a timely manner.

Not much to look at, but what it lacks in decor and nice tables it makes up in excellent food. The burgers are particularly good. Very very fresh bread.

The place was empty but one other couple when we arrived. Our server was not very friendly. We asked for water to drink not pop or coffee. There were 4 in our party. Two of us ordered the turkey dinner, the others nothing. The meal arrived promptly. The food was hot and the gravy was hot as well. The stuffing... More

A qusint ma and pa diner, service was good. The food..theor crispy fries lacked flavor, battered fish was good. Whole claims slightly undercooked. I found the meal to be overpriced for the serving size.

a Big surprise! Family owned and run - McNay's is a favorite of locals and travelers alike. Nothing fancy - just good home cooking and friendly service with very, very reasonable prices. They have a liquor license so you can have a glass of wine with your meal.

On our most recent business trip to St. Stephen, NB, we finally stopped in to dine at McNay's White House...diner-style restaurant...but it is in a white house. A very interesting venue with a nice menu. All the basics and very efficient and friendly servers. Super sandwiches...especially their hot roasted turkey sandwich with fries and their homemade gravy. I had to... More

We were here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Think were the only out-of-towners there and the locals seemed quite at home so figure it was a regular Sunday morning group. Usually a good sign. The service was a little slow but that was okay for us. If you are in hurry and there are lots of cars parked outside... More

Ate dinner here one night. Seems like a locals hang out. Nothing fancy, but the food was good. They have a seniors part on the menu which was good for my mother as she can't eat big portions. No liquor licence here so don't expect to get beer or wine with your dinner.
