The food was very good but the service was outstanding. They deal with large groups of people (tour buses) and have it down to an art form. Being a coffee snob I was not happy with the coffee but very happy with the meals.

After our ride around the Cape Breton highlands on the Cabot Trail, my wife and I ate in the Inn's dining room. I had the chicken stuffed with Armagnac prunes. The food was good and the wait staff were fun to chat with, giving us good tips for our next day's drive.

Good wait staff (Bonni and Kathy were excellent, caring and prompt). Lousy food. Not cooked per our requests. Often undercooked and cold. Too many other places to eat close by.

Our meals were nicely presented and delicious (bouillabaise and scallops and lobster soup). The service was exemplary. Our server even suggested places to visit for our upcoming trip to Newfoundland.

This restaurant has big coach parties and one was in when we arrived however they put outside customers in a separate area so there is no real impact and as they had started their meal well ahead of us arriving the kitchen was not impacted. The meal was good, the service friendly and efficient. My only complaint is that most... More

Did not think they sold bacon that thin. Fish was petrified after being baked for hours - simply dreadful. And the servers were of the impression we were a bother.

We really enjoyed our evening meal at Gisele's and had difficulty choosing from the enticing menu. This was good quality, country style food, served in an ambient atmosphere. A great end to a busy day.

We had breakfast here the two mornings. You order from the waitress and they bring the food to you. The coffee is good and the food tasty. It's just not fabulous hence the three stars. For the dinner we had a selection from our tour guide. The sole was good just not exceptional.

We just stayed here at Augere Gisele's Country Inn & restaurant in Baddeck Nova Scotia. It is a very nice property with good food and a great location, close to town. We were with a tour group and would have preferred a buffet breakfast rather than a plated breakfast due to the short time we had before we left for... More

You have them listed as a hotel but not as a restaurant, you can dine in the restaurant without staying in the Inn and the restaurant is one of the best in Baddeck - reviews of restaurants in Baddeck are not great and this would attract some much better reviews.
