We stopped for afternoon coffee and decided to carry out soup, salad and sandwiches for dinner later. Coffees were excellent - a latte and a mocha - and the food is very good.

A few miles west of Baddeck center, this little deli is a great place to grab a couple on yummy sandwiches for a harbor view picnic in Baddeck. Terrific bread, fresh cold cuts, lettuce, tomatoes and all the fixin's. Friendly service, too!

It was an unexpected deli on our way out of Cape Breton National Park. We had some great home made breakfast sandwiches here. Loved the atmosphere too!

Have been several times to the Herring Choker and every time it is great. The only disappointing this time . . . NO LOBSTER sandwich (which is absolutely fantastic)

This is a great tourist stop, but they do not carry enough sweets. By the time you get there most of the baking stuff is gone, but their sandwiches are great.
