We had an excellent evening at the Beggar's Banquet! We made reservations prior to heading to Nova Scotia after reading about the experience. All the staff were very friendly and helpful as we donned our costumes for the dinner. They had several clothing options, and...More

Thank you for the accolades. We are rewarded by your words of praise. We are sad that this evening, September 15th, is our last for the year. We are already looking forward to next June for our 8th season of fun dining. Thanks to all!

My friend and I were tempted by a review we read in a travel magazine but were a bit worried. Would the food be tasty? Would everything be completely hokey? Would it be weird to wear period-appropriate clothing? We decided to take the risk and...More

I enjoyed this, dinner theatre experience, fun not serious but quite enjoyable. You must dress up in costume which some of the men didn't like but get over it. Worth a laugh

Thank you for your review. I agree with "Get Over IT". The ones who give us the hardest time have the most fun. It's all good.

I don't usually enjoy these theme dinner places but this is a definite exception to the norm! The costumes everyone gets to wear are excellent quality. The music is non-stop and a mix of traditional French folk music and modern English folk / country. The...More

This place is FUN! It is basically a Dinner Theater, except the guests are included. The food is very good for this type of venue. I loved the Roast Chicken, and my wife loved the Lobster! My advice is to GO. ENJOY!

As the title mentioned...we had so much fun! Excellent experience getting dressed up in periodic costumes, singing along the old songs, and even doing a bit of dancing. The meal was excellent! I plan on going back with the grandkids!
