Prompt service with a smile. In house made bread was awesome. Took cookies for an afternoon snack and wished we had bought more!. Eggs were perfectly cooked. Loved the blackboard message "Start every day with a grateful heart and a cup of coffee." Outdoor seating available. Appeared to be a place visited by locals. This one is a "keeper" for... More

This place seemed to be popular with locals and puts out a good breakfast on your choice of wonderful home made breads. We each had two fried eggs and bacon. These were properly cooked and the toast was wonderful. The coffee was decent. Like most of the restaurants we visited during Celtic Colours this was about to close and I... More

Just stopped for lunch, had a terrific club (as in the photo above) on home-made porridge bread (not in the photo above). Simple food, done well, at a reasonable cost, served quickly and efficiently. Hard to beat.

I as just started to drive the Cabot Trail when I noticed a number of cars parked and I spotted the Shing Waters Eatery. I decided to give i try. I got the Caveman; two eggs, bacon, hash browns and homemade bread. I think the bread was buttered with something like Irish butter because it was wonderfully salty and complimented... More

We stopped here for breakfast after leaving Inverness and would suggest this over any breakfast spot in Inverness. Friendly staff. The bacon is lean and tasty as can be. Also, the bread is home made and so thick it could be made into a meal by itself. Coffee deserves to be a notch better but that is the only reason... More

This restaurant is just open for breakfast and lunch, so keep that in mind. It doesn't have an extensive menu, but for breakfast and lunch, you will find enough to satisfy. We had the homemade soup of the day (hamburger) with a homemade biscuit. It was delicious.

This place is stellar! My work group of 7 needed breakfast before spending a long day in the field. So, so glad we came here! The service was super fast and so friendly! The coffee was excellent and the breakfast - well, it was actually perfect and we'll priced (see the picture!). Amazing home fried hashbrowns, perfectly crispy bacon, and... More

Needed a quick bite so I stopped here with my brother. We ordered grilled cheese and a BLT and one coke. The total was just over $20 (without tip) and I thought that was bit steep but when I got my sandwich I could see it was money well spent. My BLT was enormous and the bread was nice and... More

Description
This looks like a local favourite which has had a rcent makeover, the owner was young and friendly and the interior laidback but contemporary. We stopped for a coffee on the way through the town and were surprised by the atmosphere and quality food.
