My husband and I had supper and shared the combo platter for two. It had two kinds of sausage, smoked pork chops, schnitzel, steamed veggies, red cabbage and sauerkraut. We ate until we were full and took home the leftovers. It was quite tasty although my husband wasn't a fan of the dill sauce on the veggies. We will go... More

We were a party of 4 celebrating a relative's birthday, went on a Monday eve and had a cozy corner to ourselves. Started out with appetizers of small fresh garden salads which were bigger than anticipated and escargot. A basket of rye bread was brought to the table after that. Our main entrees consisted of lightly breaded wiener schnitzel, sausages,... More

German/Hungarian restaurant. Small, quaint restaurant. I had the Jager Schnitzel with a side of Spaetzle and green vegs. The Schnitzel was excellent, however, the mushroom sauce was very bland. The vegetables came with a sauce and was excellent. Now for the "but". The Spaetzle came "naked" - straight out of the boiling water and onto the plate. No seasoning, no... More

The food was excellent as always. The staff was friendly and professional. The ambiance is conducive to a relaxed dinner and conversation.

Popped because I was getting something at a nearby shop. Was in a hurry but there was only one waiter for a busy lunch. Took longer than I had hoped. I had the daily special schnitzel. It was very well prepares and delicious. The accompanying fries were mediocre and vegetables were good. I will go back for the peppercorn sauce.... More

Well, we've been a few times to Sauter"s Inn Restaurant and disappointed each time. First the wait times to be served are too long. It is not the same place it use to be when the former owners had this restaurant. You use to be welcomed and asked about your day, they played great music and were always asking how... More

We have enjoyed the food at Sauter's Inn for many years, and were saddened when we heard that it might close this summer. I guess the patrons rallied, and the restaurant is staying open!! The food is real home style German, with the best being the Schnitzels and Kasseler smoked pork chops. The delicious Schlachtplatte for two needs 3-4 people... More

I, like many others, have been going here for many years. I agree with the other reviewers' comments about the food going downhill or being inconsistent. The last time I was there it was a Sunday evening. We were a party of 4 and certainly did not need reservations as in the past, and there was only one server so... More

Been going here for several years but ownership changed recently and the food went downhill. Schnitzel are paper thin and not worth the money. Too bad. Used to love it here but will not return.

We have been going here for years but of late have found the food to be inconsistent. I usually have my peppercorn sauced schnitzel with red cabbage and vegetables. I like the goulash soup but found it last time to be very sour. The time before that I found it to be too salty. The food was served luke warm... More
