A hidden gem on a country road. It looks like a house, but there is a diner on one side. Yummy food! Would recommend. They seem to have specials on Sundays - would like to try someday.

This place reminds me of my Mum. Small but mighty. Mighty fine service and mighty fine food. We have eaten here about 3 times. Service always great and the food is fantastic. The last time I ate there I had the chicken sandwich. THE BEST...CHICKEN SANDWICH I EVER HAD.More

On Saturday nights the special is buttermilk fried chicken and waffles. Both of us ordered it and it was delicious. The waffles were small and round, Belgian style. The boneless chicken breast was substantial, moist and delicious. Served with hot sauce and real maple syrup,...you are supposed to pour the hot sauce over everything and then the syrup. We weren't quite that brave, just lightly dipping the chicken in the hot sauce. Service was very friendly and efficient.More

If you like salad, order the Summer Salad. It was The best salad I've ever had. The chicken fingers and onion rings were very good. The chocolate strawberry cheesecake was excellent. The entire staff were very friendly. Barb was helpful suggesting places to go on...the Bruce Peninsula, and we went to some of the places she suggested. The next time I'm on the Bruce Peninsula I know where I'll be eating.More

I the restaurant is located out of the way if you're coming down highway 6, but well worth the detour! We stopped in for a bite and were not disappointed. The kids shared a pulled pork sandwich with fries, which they thoroughly enjoyed. We had...a salad, poutine, and chilli. The poutine was top notch, one of the best I've had. The chilli was super tasty with just the right amount of spice, had a nice little kick to it. We actually asked if they had chilli fries, and although they didn't they were nice enough to serve the chilli on a small fries for us. Inside the restaurant is small, the tables are modular so they can accomodate groups, but you may be waiting to be seated if it is a busy time. Inside seats maybe 24 people. Service was prompt and accommodating. I have to come back for breakfast, I hear the French toast stuffed with cream cheese and strawberries is a staple for the local road cyclists who come up from Port Elgin and use this as a turn around pointMore

While driving around looking for a beach, we stumbled upon this little gem! The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. They gave us directions to the beach we had been searching for and recommend a few other places to check out. We ordered grill cheese...sandwiches for lunch, they were delicious and had generous portions of french fries. There butter tarts are fabulous, I wish we had of purchased a few for the drive home. If you're up in the area, make sure you stop by for a delicious meal and say hello to the wonderful staff!More
