I was here for a night with a few friends. Had dinner at Vintages. Started with the caesar salad. On the menu it said bacon was in the salad but there was so little it I had a hard time finding it. The dressing was good though. I also had the gnocchi. It was just ok. No real flavour popped... More

Had a buffet lunch and breakfast as well as a served dinner. All meals were terrific. Lunch had a great selection of cheeses, toppings and fresh salad items in addition to the main dishes - that day was pizza but excellent. Dinner was superb - it was table'hote style...had the steak which melted in your mouth. Dessert was a pumkin... More

Really enjoy going here over the decades. Not as nice as it used to be, but still is pleasant to go for dinner. Enjoy the grounds and walking around.

After spending a couple of nights at Windermere House my wife and I made our way to Sherwood Inn for a further 5 nights of rest and relaxation. With our daughter at a 7 day camp this was a chance for my wife and I to sit back and relax and the Sherwood Inn allows you to do that in... More

The quality was ok, however, for the price, the amount of food was not good value for the money. Pricing was made manageable as result of having an Inn credit as part of our package.

We had dinner at the Inn on Tuesday night. I had the seafood chowder, lots in it and was served hot. I had the seafood risotto, 2 big shrimps, 2 scallops and was very good. There were 5 of us and everyone enjoyed their meal. 2 had the pork chops and 1 had the rib eye steak. Everything came as... More

A beautiful Inn with a storied past. Old Georgian white mansion set at the base of Lake Joseph. We stayed here on our way back from northern Ontario and what a welcoming setting. Our room was newly renovated in the main building overlooking the front entrance. It is an entrancing spot and we had dinner in an exclusive dining room... More

I would probably look at other dining options, but the food was good, just not up to par for the prices.

The place needs a big overhaul, cleaning, updating. The gardens are a mess- all weeds, muskoka chairs( few and far between, )dirty and full of spider webs. Food in the dining room barely warm. The bed was comfortable. The toilet leaked and rocked on its base. The property has great potential. Needs a re-do.

For a change of pace, try the Sherwood Inn. It is a hidden gem. You will love the grounds as well as the food, which is very reasonable for the class of restaurant that it is. If you can find it - - go and try the food. You will not be disappointed.
