we ordered the salads for supper to have in our rooms. takeout boxes? disappointing. for the salda, they got the order wrong, asked for dressing on the side. the salad itself was an "iceberg" salad with a large slice of iceberg lettuce 1/2 inch thick....assorted bits of cauliflower, radish and something that looked like fried carrot peel. the Caesar was a mystery. large burnt slices of bread, whole broccolini spears,a nd something resembling slices of soggy parmesan. it took my daughter several attempts to get a menu from front desk and then it was the wrong menu. c'mon. get with the resort program....good food, great service it was not. bombed on this.....it used ot be a really good spot for dinner.More

Took 1.5 hours for main meal, arrived cold & was disappointing. Understaffed, waited for utensils & condiments. Manager compensated one meal in an effort to make it up. Appreciate the effort but was too little for too late for a romantic birthday celebration. Would not...recommend.More

We tried the foie gras poêlé. It was cold at its center. The onion soup consisted of a whole caramelized onion in sirupy sweet beef broth, big chunks of bread and melted cheese. Totally unacceptable . The grilled salad was coming out the fridge. All...poor quality. The dining room was near empty and we could sit by the window because it was entirely reserved for a group. We were assigned a table in the darkest part of the dining room. We settled to eat at the bar.More

Chose the ROK for the price difference. Its was disappointed with that restaurant although the service was perfect.

We had a nice meal here but it was not particularly "special". Salmon tartar was average and the chicken Cesar was interesting...a unique way of serving which I've not experienced before (and this was a good thing, just to be clear). My hubby however, did...LOVE his brie dish, with grand mariner....it we were rating on that alone, he'd rate this Excellent but this is an overall review. No complaints, service was fine, as was the meal.More

Nice views of lake. Service was a little slow. Good appetizers. Had drinks at the bar. Inexperienced bar staff.

Went for a late lunch. It's quiet. Food and service was excellent. Had the soup, poutine and pizza. All very good. I would definitely go back.

Visited for dinner and as the hotel has conventions ,must book. Got the table we asked for,in the window for the great views. Wine list is their signature dish! Too long to really digest and expensive. Menu limited and my wife ended up having just...a salad. I had a crab starter made ,I guess , with frozen Alaska crab legs , which was quite tasteless . A three sorts of duck main was inventive but not very filling. The service was slow but the whole evening was saved by a glorious moonrise over the lake. Quite expensive .More

The food itself was above average. However, the service was quite slow (friday night). We had to ask for water re-fills a few seperate times as there did not seem to be regular rounds. That being said, this did not really affect the overall experience...as the food was quite food. Not gourmet style, but above average.More
