The restaurant at Malarrimo is the best thing about staying at the hotel. The food was very fresh and wonderfully prepared. I'm not usually a fan of mixed seafood but the seafood soup was unbelievable!

Camp stove broke on the long haul from Bay of LA via San Borja so we arrived hungry. And thirsty. Good thing we beat the rush, it was jammed up you the time we left and the servers were working hard. Sure it's the obvious gringo place, but the food was excellent, the margaritas weren't neon/from a mix, and the... More

While the service can be unpredictable, we've found that the food at the Malarrimo Motel Restaurant is consistently well prepared and delicious. We tend to stick to the same dishes, which probably helps, and have found that the abalone (always ask if they have it if you'e a fan - it's hard to find in restaurants anywhere), the fish and... We had fish burritos, and bear in mind this is a seafood restaurant with the ocean about a block away. fresh fish should be pretty easy to find. The fish in our burritos, however, was really nasty--dark, and so fishy as to... More

This was a very pretty restaurant for dinner. People were friendly and welcoming and the food was very good. Wifi is better in the bar area if you need that. Enjoyable time.

Whatever you order, lobster, machaca con huevo, chorizo con huevo, flank steak, seafood soup, etc, ask for your FLOUR TORTILLAS and the very spicy salsa. Cheers.

This will be a review on the restaurant part of the business, since we didn't stay at the motel. Found this place by a recommendation of a colleague. We were on a business trip and wanted to have breakfast before continuing our journey. It was around 8 AM on a weekday (Thursday) and the place was empty, but some locals... More
