This is a rather plain venue with both good service and good food. Nothing fancy, but great for a late breakfast or early lunch. I often eat here after making my way up the tiangus on Wednesdays.

We went to Salvador's for lunch on market day. The shrimp we had was very good but it took a long time to arrive! We sat outside which is really part of the pavement so there was a stream of passers by and some young lads hanging around which did not make us feel particularly comfortable. In most other restaurants... More

Very good food with outside and inside dining. Ex-pats hold court every morning. Next to Wednesday open fresh market and almost next to Super Mercado. Very good breakfast, helpful waiters, superb fresh squeezed orange and carrot juices.

Stopped by and the outside seating was full. Inside is fine and service was very good. I loved the chilaquiles but did not realize I had to order the chicken with them. They are great without the chicken! English and Spanish menu.

But we would go here even if we weren't going to the market. Friendly service in a very clean environment. I had the breakfast burrito (#16). I thought the burritos would be small. Na-ah! Large burritos, 2 of them, frshly made with ham and eggs. Delicious! Linda had the english muffin sandwich with eggs and cheese. Absolutely puts most other... More

While very accommodating to the 'regulars' who eat massive quantities of bacon & bad coffee every day, this place is not a highlight in the ajijic repertoire of food establishments. Atmosphere is somewhat sad, as those truly in God's waiting room are frequent diners.. 'clean' is not an adjective I would use either..
