The charm came in the person of Natalia, our server. She was as kind and sweet as could be, spoke excellent English, and served us unobtrusively and professionally. The four of us - two couples in our party, somehow developed a new way of eating on this trip. We ordered entrees as though they were appetizers and ate them one... More

We love love love this place. We went twice for lunch and three times for dinner. The setting back in the jungle is peaceful and beautiful. The service every visit was prompt and friendly. I recommend everything we ordered throughout the week: Guacamole and chips, tacos on Sunday are a must, the beef and chicken quesidillas, the gringas, and the... More

We had a great night at Que Onda. We had eaten lunch here before and it was good but dinner was beyond our expectations. Fresh homemade pasta, the shrimp dish was excellent. We all ordered different items and everyone loved their meals. The service was excellent and Damien our server was so friendly and lots of fun. The restaurant is... More

We stopped here after the lagoon and it was great. Peaceful and very friendly people. Nice little by the beach place that we would go back to.

Good restaurant if you're staying in this hotel. Tasty pasta dishes with moderate price - $10-15, friendly staff.

The owner of this restaurant puts her heart and soul into her food. The restaurant is part of a hotel complex that is adorable and walking distance to Yal Ku Lagoon. Located at the very north end of Akumal, it is a great place for those staying in North Akumal or Half Moon Bay. My favorites are the Spaghetti Bolognese... More

Great breakfast for a really good price at Que Onda. Mine included coffee, fresh squeezed juice, omelette, fruit plate, beans, toast and probably more that I can't think of. Our waiter Damien was fun to practice Spanish/English with too. Absolutely a great find.

Very brief but yummy menu. Fish, chicken and steak tacos, same menu for quesadilla. Pretty much it, but they did not disappoint. (Pay in Pesos, as their USD exchange rate was not exactly a good deal). For me, probably not worth a taxi or walk out there if you are not staying nearby but we had a rental car. Very... More

Good Italian food with fresh made pasta. We own a home locally and always make it a point to enjoy a meal here. We will continue to do so as they have never failed to impress.

Thank Michael L
