We three British middle aged gay guys were not much hungry on a Wednesday evening as we had eaten very well at Cenote Tazi for lunch and a free swim. I had looked up this venue as was looking for a gay friendly place to drink and have a late snack. There are no gay bars in Val it seems... More

We met up with some friends to go to dinner. The first place we went to was closed so we talked about where to go. Canto's was suggested. They had been there a little while ago but not since the renovations. They mentioned that the last time they were there the food was not so good. We mentioned that we... More

We had a great time in this lovely restaurant. The setting is beautiful, with gorgeous paintings and decorations. The food was fresh, well seasoned and presented stunningly. Our waiter spoke some English and was super attentive. We will definitely come back!

We were staying at the Posada San Juan, so this place was very convenient, i.e., just down the street. As other have pointed out, it has a very funky decor, which may not suit everyone's tastes. We didn't see any locals eating here; just gringos and turistas. Service was good, but the food was just O.K. I ordered the pollo... More

We had a couple of good dinners, everything was good (guacamole, tortas, burros, burger, cocktails). Nice live music in the backyard.

We didn't get a chance to look through trip advisor's restaurants before we randomly stumbled upon Conato. We noticed the art on the walls as we walked by and turned back to check out the menu. I'm so glad we did! The atmosphere was interesting: brightly decorated, local art, quirky courtyard and a live band on the second level. There... More

Great option if you don't know what you want to eat. There is plenty of different dishes to choose from and good list of drinks. Fresh juices and a reasonable price. They even had dominos for the kids.

Several of us, some previously known to each other, some not, [in Valladolid for a five day workshop / retreat] had a group dinner here after someone suggested it. I had to look it up to find it. I went with some trepidation based on the 'skip it' and 'taxes hidden' reviews I found during that process. The food was... More

A little further away from the city center. Went there for dinner. A place for locals and tourist, couples and families. The Margaritas were good, and generous on the tequila. For portions were generous and the guac was delicious! The place is surrounded by art and has a very good eclectic atmosphere. The service was good and bad at times,... More
