Great place to eat and drink. The food and the service were excellent. The atmosphere is also very good next to a lovely fountain. Highly recommend!

My husband and I each tried one of the flambe entrees, pollo a la Marques and pollo a la diabla. Not only was the tableside preparation entertaining but the food was delicious. Service was attentive but not intrusive. The courtyard setting is lovely. I would return in a heartbeat.

Went with high hopes. Was my boyfriends birthday and he is a chef so wanted to take him somewhere nice. The only nice thing in this place is the decoration but it's not worth paying 500 for. The food is typical canteen food- prepared during the day and laid out on the plates when ordered. If you want fresh ingredients... More

Stopped in Valladolid on the way from Cancun to Merida. Chose this restaurant because of location (across from main park and cathedral). We had a delicious and creative lunch of Yucatecan specialities. The sopa de lima and the gazpacho divorciado were fantastic.

We stayed at the hotel and we ate here 2 out of our 3 nights. The food and drinks are delicious. My "stand out" dish was the stuffed pepper. I think it was a poblano pepper, and it was delicious. It's enough for an entire meal. The restaurant also has a great vibe.

We arrived and quickly realized we were perhaps the only Americans there. No problem, the place was so quaint. I loved the interior square with fountains and gardens. We were concerned about parking our rental out front and no one spoke English until one man came along and spoke enough to discuss with the hostess and she showed us where... More

I highly recommend this place for its ambience, service, and delicious cuisine, especially for its price. Not only is this a great choice for great food, but it's also good for quiet romantic ambience, or even groups. It's not bourgeois / fresa / stuck up, but you might want to dress somewhat nicer in this establishment. Don't stop by in... More

Beautiful place with great and fresh food. Good for romantic lunch or for dinner with friends. However the service was not really friendly. It's a pity because it is a lovely place.

We were sick when we got to El Meson. Staff were so helpful, made us all kinds of home remedies to feel better. The grounds are really nice, although spend most of the time in the room with the flu. We would love to come back.

We had dinner here based on a recommendation from Casa Marlene where we were staying. Our meal was excellent. When traveling, we prefer to have meals that are typical to the area. There were 3 of us and we each had something different, all were excellent. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was perfect. We felt that the pricing... More
