Nice pub, traditional English type of thing. Food was good, service was friendly and it was reasonably priced.

The last time we were here was when Jed and Mandy run the place, and it was warm and welcoming. Now for whatever reason the numbers are deminishing. Maybe 80 pence for a splash of soda is part of the reason. It will be a long time before we go back there

We visited this pub last night with friends, the restaurant was empty at 7pm! The menu was fairly dull not a lot of choice, the pork belly chop was extremely tough and was almost fifteen pounds I couldn't eat it.....the burgers were over seasoned with a very strong herb which was unpleasant and the chocolate ice cream was a cheap... So good to see a new lease of life in this pub with great new landlords that really care. They have also just started doing food and we had a super meal - Salmon and Chicken mains - both were freshly prepared, well presented and absolutely delicious. Looking forward to trying Steak night (on Wednesdays) and the Sunday Roasts too!!... More

We looked for somewhere to eat and checked out T A, ratings looked good, so drove out. Sadly on arriving the venue looked very in appealing from the outside, and empty too, which seemed odd at 7pm. May be an injustice to the place but three of the us felt the same and headed off back into Buckingham.

Really nice meal from the Mother's Day menu. Really good food over the 3 courses, great selection of drinks at the bar, and really nice building/atmosphere. Service from the bar lady was excellent and she explained that since other staff were ill she had to cover the restaurant as well as the bar. Highly recommendable.
