Tasting menu accommodated despite being fully booked very professionally. Fantastic food, and really interesting wines and someone who was clearly passionate about what they were doing. Highlights were the foie gras and Turbot. You deserve the star you are aiming for!

we enjoyed a marvelously relaxing Saturday lunch in the historic setting of Andre Garrett's restaurant at Cliveden House. We chose the market menu - the food in all three courses was absolutely delicious and the accompanying bottle of South African sauvignon blanc competitively priced at...More

A wonderful surprise evening dining at Andre Garrett for my birthday. Cliveden is one of the most beautiful houses I have been to. We sat in the bar for a glass of champagne first. Food was ordered very easily without fussing about my allergy. The...More

A very appreciative return as a guest dining companion for Saturday dinner. Although serving sizes are not what one would condsider hearty, the taste and quality was mouth-wateringly divine. The medallion of Yorkshire beef was likely the best I ever eaten. Though many wines were...More

After a morning walk on the grounds of Cliveden House, we took complimentary boat trip along the river, this was about 40 minutes, which to be honest felt over long, maybe the cold wind didn't help. Take a scarf. Lunch at Andre Garrett was really...More

We had the 7 course taster menu with the flight of wines. The food is excellent and presented beautifully. The staff was quietly attentive and our water was topped up all the time which I love! The atmosphere was quite cosy given the proportions of...More

The decor of the restaurant is not in keeping with the architecture of the house. The service was slow, unpolished, cold and not very friendly. We ate the set lunch "market menu". The choices are limited, the portions tiny and the quality very very disappointing.

Three of us had Chateaubriand, which on this day wasn't served as a two person dish as it usually is. It was really superb. Whatever you choose though I'm sure will be really delicious. Regards Margaret
If one dines in one of the Cliveden restaurants, but isn't a guest of the hotel, are you allowed to explore the grounds and the public areas of the hotel?

The André Garrett Dining Room was originally the Drawing Room of the house and is a stunning south-facing spacious room which radiates with sunlight and looks out over the nineteenth-century Parterre, the gardens and River Thames. Its classical elegance and fine works of art give it an enviable touch of romance, and bring the history for which Cliveden is famous to life. Lunch and dinner are served here, offering classic English dishes combined with Cliveden's extensive cellar book. At lunchtimes, chose from the Market menu which offers tremendous value or from the more extensive a la carte selection. At dinner, enjoy award-winning modern classic English cuisine with dishes brimming with fresh seasonal ingredients and local produce. Please note, jeans or sportswear are not permitted at any time. Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket for dinner.
