The portions here are very generous and the food freshly cooked. The garlic mushroom starter was like a main course. We were a party of 12 and the service was excellent. I personally did not like the rarebit with bacon - it had too much...pepper and mustard. The desserts were well presented.More

Been several times for lunch , Sunday dinner and afternoon tea. Cannot praise the food enough. I am gluten free and my dietary requirements are easily catered for, without any issues. The refurbishment is fabulous. Staff and atmosphere is brilliant. Cannot recommend enough.
Visited a few times during the refurbishment and now it's complete it's simply stunning. Food has been consistently good, and prices are really good for the quality. Booze prices decent too. They have a small kids menu in addition to what's on their website. 5*
