We visited for my partner’s 30th birthday and we can’t fault a single thing! The service was welcoming and attentive, the food was amazing and reasonably priced for high quality ingredients and cooking. We had the mezze and I would highly recommend (5 plates was enough for 2 of us). There was plenty of options for vegetarians too. The drinks menu was extensive and authentic. Baklava tasty! The service was above and beyond. We were made to feel special and nothing was too much to ask - our glasses were never empty! On top of it all they sang happy birthday for my girlfriend and put a candle in the baklava :). I would highly recommend.

I have been to quite a few Greek restaurants in Greece and the north west of England. In the North West this is unique / different from the rest ( there are some really good ones). Firstly, I had read that the welcome was really good, as you would expect, but it didn't seem anything special at first, but joint owner Kelly was really good with her timing of questions and service and knew exactly how to make you feel welcome without being obtrusive. The menu, at first looks a little limited for mains, but that probably is why there is great care taken with what is on offer. The portions are probably bigger that what is on offer in Greece, and you can easily have a few starters and share a main, if you can agree on what to have. We decided that we would have to come back before we had even decided what to have or eaten anything! With Vasileios on show in the kitchen, the whole feel of the place is unique and the Greek chairs are a great touch. Great job guys. Do you think 3/4 days is too soon to return? I need to try the Spetsofai !

A most delightful first visit. .... As soon as we arrived I knew that we wouldn't be disappointed, Kelly warmly welcomed us and continued throughout our light lunch to provide excellent service. Classic example of her attention to detail was upon ordering a 2nd glass of wine she returned to the table with 2 clean glasses, rather than just refilling our existing glasses. We enjoyed 3 of the smaller plates which were extremely tasty and beautifully cooked. Again Kelly used her discretion and rather than bringing all 3 dishes to the table at once, she brought them individually which prolonged the dining experience and also prevented the food getting too cold.It was a lovely way to end the year and we will certainly be back.

It's great to see a Greek restaurant in Nantwich but I think they are taking advantage of this and the food is over priced for the portion size. Waiting staff were lovely and we didn't feel rushed with the 2 hour time allocation. Maybe do a lunch time special as it was fairly quiet. Menu is the same price all day so was quite an expensive lunch.

Very warm welcome. I thought the decor looked authentic and reminded me of previous visits to Greece. We had a mezzo and everything was well done and tasty. Particularly enjoyed the fried courgettes although a little disappointed in the spanakopita as I thought it could have used more cheese and seasoning. Nice to have a properly made Greek coffee as well and the baklava was very light, not overly sweet and large enough to share. Will definitely visit again.

St Martha is a unique and genuine restaurant with its dedicated couple who it, cooking and serving customers with real Greek specialities. It has a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. Have enjoyed meals here several times and sincerely hope it can quickly return to normal working as soon as this lockdown is over.

Lovely quaint restaurant. A limited menu but that may be so that they can concentrate on producing a few dishes to a high standard. The lamb kleftiko was delicious & substantial, served with veg & two small potatoes in a tureen. The beef stifado was very good and a large portion but served with no accompaniments. A choice of three typically Greek, very sweet desserts that were large portions which the waiter helpfully wrapped for us to take home. Most of the other diners seemed to be having the sharing menu at ÂŁ28 per person that appears to give a good selection from the main menu and would be a very substantial meal. The waiter was extremely pleasant and helpful. A fairly expensive meal but good value for the standard of the food. Shall definitely visit again and recommend to my friends.

This little gem in Nantwich is well worth a visit. The customer service on offer is second no none and each discussion with the staff is filed with their passion for the food. We arrived in two couples and were explained to how long we had our table for due to the curfew and given advice on how is best to order to avoid missing out on what we wanted. We ordered some authentic Greek beers with Fix, Alfa and Mythos available. a range of starters with the amazing fried courgettes , Kalamarakia and baked halloumi. Everything was so tasty and fresh. Main meals we went with the Lamb Kleftiko which was cooked to perfection with some amazing feta chips and Greek salad. Dessert was upon us and we had the fresh Baklava which was out of this world. This little piece of Greece is a must visit for anyone in the area and I cant compliment the staff enough. Thank you for St Martha for making our Saturday night perfect!!

We have been here twice now, the food is good enough and the service is efficient. However, I think they could offer more for the money. I ordered Bifteki to start and for ÂŁ8 I got one meatball, It was very nice, but ONE meatball ? For mains we had open Souvlaki which comes on a very small plate and for ÂŁ13 you get perhaps 4 pieces of chicken, some bread and tzatziki, It wouldn't hurt to incude fries and salad for the price.

We were visiting the local area and staying locally in Nantwich. We booked Friday dinner at St.Martha for 8.30pm on Friday. We arrived early and the gentleman at front of house agreed to call us if the table became available which he duly did at 8pm - already a good start. Service was superb, excellent ambience and delicious food. Puts a lot of local restaurants we normally visit closer to home to shame. Make sure you make the effort to eat there.

We enjoyed a lovely meal at St Martha as a birthday treat for both my wife and long-time family friend. We received a lovely welcome and received excellent but unobtrusive service throughout the evening. The restaurant is taverna in style, plain in decor and style but ideal to take you back to Greek holiday meals. We had a meze selection for starters which were delicious, followed by moussaka, Kleftiko and lamb kekab. All very traditional but delicious and very filling. The kitchen is fairly central in the restaurant and I always quite enjoy seeing some of the food prep and cooking in action. Will definitely be visiting again.

small restaurant with about 14 covers and very compact space especially low hanging lights above tables for a 6ft man. The server Olly was very pleasant and was obviously keen to develop customer contacts and it seemed he already knew most of the guests. 1st course came quickly & the prawn Saganaki was delicious but I was a little surprised to find that my sausage starter was indeed just that ONE sausage for ÂŁ9! We then waited over 35 minutes for a lamb kleftiko to arrive plus my wife had ordered beef stifado which arrived as an unappetising looking brown plateful. After a few minutes my wife was having a problem chewing tough meat so we called Olly over gave him a sample for the chef who agreed that it was indeed a problem but he had checked all the other dishes and they were OK! I suspect it was a problem with the microwave & of overcooking a batch but no reason was given. No option for my wife except to pick at what was edible and leave the rest. My lamb was very average with several potatoes bulking out the lamb The cost was taken off the bill but really poor on a 1st visit to get this sort of performance

Excellent food, atmosphere and service from start to finish. We shared pita and dips, meatballs, souvlaki, feta chips and baklava which were all great. Authentic Greek experience and will be returning as soon as we are allowed to try the rest of the menu or using as a takeaway if they stay open under lockdown 2.

We started getting takeaways from St Martha throughout lockdown which were always nice, but when we ate in last week it was SENSATIONAL! The service was fantastic, and the food even better. I had the calamari to start and then the spiced lamb souvlaki for my main course, and both were delicious. Also, they made a mistake with my Dad's starter and brought him the wrong item. He was hungry so told them not to worry as he'd happily eat the incorrect item. They went away and soon came back with the plate he ordered (on the house) for the inconvenience. It was greatly appreciated and both plates were super yummy. We finished the night with their homemade baklava. From start to finish, I honestly think it was the best meal experience I've had in years! Can't wait to go back!

A well-organised takeaway with customers arriving every five minutes. We are used to moussaka in tourist villages - St Martha's is a higher level with fresh made white source with wonderful nutmeg overtones. The Stifado was rich and flavourful and the dips great. We saved the Greek salad for lunch tomorrow.
