We met family members here in the middle of Christmas shopping. The cafe is clean, warm and welcoming. The staff are pleasant and serve at the tables. Coffee and tea piping hot. We will visit again.

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere - plus the cakes were lovely! We came with the kids on a lovely sunny day - we did think it may be too busy but the staff were great and we were tucking into lunch really quickly.
Tatty surroundings, staff sitting at tables talking loudly to family (?) customers sitting at other tables, grim food. Won't return.

Looks nice & tradiitonal from outside but it's awful. Overpriced food, cutlery and crockery covered in bits as though dishwasher malfunctioning and not rinsing properly. Impression all not well between staff.
Disgusted, 2 bacon rolls (one rasher in each roll) and two mugs of very stong builders tea (not even offered a pot of tea to pour ourselves) £7.00. What a rip off, certainly would recommend another visit.
