An interesting cafe/ tea room with significant potential if they could get the service right - from (multiple) experiences, they've not cracked it yet!! A beautiful tea garden overlooking the High Street is perfect for watching folk going about their day. I regularly visit this place after a morning cycling and just wish the service level could improve. Great coffee... More

overpriced for what you receive, basic sandwich £8, not good value for money or actually well presented.

Called in for coffee after a lovely lunch at Piste and a nice trip around the great choice of independent shops on the Main Street. The cakes looked really good but we were still full from lunch so just had drinks. Will return again to sample the food & cakes.

We stopped here for a much needed break after a long walk with the dog. We were all made welcome, seated outside on the little terrace, our orders taken swiftly and a bowl of water brought for our four legged friend. We shared smoked salmon sandwiches, chips and carrot cake, which were all delicious, washed down with a superb pot... More

The position is first rate, the outside inviting, but the interior needs a professional makeover. This would greatly enhance the experience of eating there. Having said that, our cream teas were nice, though the scones were on the small size. This place has big potential..........

We were driving up from Shropshire and decided to have a break so pulled off the road and went into Tarporley. We spotted this café which had a parking spot nearby and called in. The place was very pleasant with outside tables and a good choice of cakes and scones. I had the strawberry roulade and cream which was delicious... More

From the outside it looks as though it will be a very nice little cafe. I ordered a Victoria Sponge and Tea. The cake was okay although lacked much flavour and the tea pot must have had 5 or 6 teaspoons of leaves in which just stewed the tea (and I like my tea strong). The service was nothing special...
