Food very fresh. Made on premises at Bakery. For us to make two visits in six days it must be good. Staff very welcoming too.

Bought some cakes whilst we were staying at the black cock inn across the road. The quality is out standing and everything is baked onsite as far as I am aware. Really good food.

I am so sorry your visit to our café was not up to your expectations and in particular your dissatisfaction with the custard tart. Please feel free if passing our way again to come in and claim a refund for the same.

At Broughton Village Bakery /Cafe we start baking at 4am to laden our large farmhouse table with freshly made artisan breads, pies, pasties, chunky sausage rolls, quiches, cakes and tray-bakes. Our takeaway service also offers generously filled sandwiches made with our own bread and fresh homemade soups. Alternatively you can sit in our modest, cosy 32 seater cafe which offers free Wi-Fi, magazines, chalks and blackboards (!) or on comfy sofas in front of the wood burning stove. Our menu has been created around our bakery produce offering down-to-earth, good quality food made from flavoursome ingredients which are sourced locally and organically.
