Its a large pub with many levels. We ate in the bar area and had to wait for the table to be cleared and the other one was also left dirty. Only a couple of people in when we entered. The service was ok and we paid before we got the food. The sharing platter was what it said but... More

A busy spot, 20 minute wait for a table Friday evening - well worth it - food exactly as described, Cajun spice chicken breast as a burger, plenty of it. Lovely sticky toffee pudding too !

We arrived on a Monday evening about 8 having been recommended by the friendly Stan Laurel Inn, as their chef has Mondays off. I thought all the RR Discoverys in the car park a little off putting but shifting my anti pretentious car status symbol aside, we were eagerly welcomed and shown to a table in the enclosed restaurant area.... We visited today (mothering Sunday 2017) our table was booked for 5pm. We did not eat till 6.30. The service was shocking. Clearly far to many tables had been booked and they did not have the man power to cope. The food when it arrived was OK. I have had better and I have had worse.. I have not been... More

Nice, easy to find place to eat good quality food. Suitable for all the family. We decide to book and it was prabably a good idea, as it got quite busy whilst we were eating. perhaps had something to do with the Rugby on the large TVs (in a separate area to the restaurant). Good stuff

A Beautiful farm barn conversation on the edge of the National Park serving great British pub food. locally sourced and home made always served along with seasonal specials. A large 80 seater bar area with real log fire or a tastefully decorated restaurant for more cosy dining there's even a function suite available too. Just on the coast road towards Bardsea.
