A great night enjoyed with our entire family to celebrate our anniversary. Visited this establishment a great number of times over the years & never disappointed. Good service, bar staff & food with the benefit, on this occasion, of a 'private' sitting in the conservatory dining room. Good value for money for the very high quality of food & service... More

Good location and good beers. Food expensive and not great. Been a few times to try and be fair. When suns out its great to sit outside. So much potential but not taking it....

Came across this pub in error by taking a wrong turn but what a find. Only had time for a coffee but will be returning for a meal. Lovely quaint pub with friendly staff and lovely coffee. Large conservatory overlooking the sea.

I have been here many times and love the location and food. I am unable return as somehow the owners have chosen to add a scent to their air conditioning. It's a ludicrous thing to do infer any circumstances, bit in a dining establishment it beggars belief. I am sensitive to artificial fragrance and only use indented products - donI... More

My wife, dog and I stayed here for a weekend brake to visit the lakes for the first time. It was the perfect place to stay, everyone was friendly and helpful. The location was lovely overlooking Morecambe Bay with a nice walk along the tow path of the canal for the dog. I would recommend the upgrade to a room... More

A lovely place to stay, excellent food by Bob Lyons and friendly staff managed by Lesley. We never tire of coming here. One of the great pleasures is sitting in the conservatory enjoying the wonderful breakfast overlooking Morecambe Bay. We were lucky on our second morning - the only people in for breakfast to enjoy the peaceful setting. Already looking... More

Went here for Sunday lunch, excited by prospect of a deficated vegetarian menu. Had to ask for the veggie menu (why can't it just be put out with the other menu). Main course was listed as £16.50, which is quite pricey for a veggie choice but thought that it might be worth it. Unfortunately it wasn't. Overcooked aubergine, leek and... More
