Stopped off at this pub on our way back to our hotel. First impression was that it is a 'local pub' slightly worse for wear. Hence the 4 star. However, the welcome and the food far outweigh any cosmetic shortfalls. The staff were beyond friendly...More

Went to this pub for an evening meal. Were served immediately, plenty of room. Food cooked fresh to order and plenty of it. Main meals very filling. Desserts are excellent and portions of meals are very good. Couldn't finish my dessert. Staff friendly and welcoming.

I would book. It was busy when we went in the evening and that was a Thursday so a Saturday would probably be busier.

Well, it is not exactly very far, but you should walk along the A591 and A595 and both are rather busy. Not really a pleasant stroll. I would suggest car.
