We were staying in a hotel in Ashbourne with no restaurant and were looking for somewhere close by as it was raining quite hard as we set off. We had 4 starters, 4 mains, drinks and a bottle of wine for less than £90. the...More

Absolutely lovely food, for a good price. Took a veggie, and they made up her own "meal"; wonderful service!

Ended up having a couple of meals here on our trip, both really decent and generous portions. Prices were fair too. A pleasant ambiance too.

The pie and mash was truly delicious, the pie was stuffed full of meat and very nice quality. The other meals we had were nice enough but nothing exiting. The chips were of the frozen variety and could have done with a little more cooking.

This could be a lovely place but needs a little TLC. Good outside space but untidy and dirty in places. Didnt eat here but they do serve food and a good range of wines, beers and spirits. Worth a visit but please tidy up!
