Went for Xmas lunch, it was rather good but perhaps missing the wow factor on taste. Their usual set menu is excellent value and tasty too. Great coffee and their scones are amongst the best in Derbyshire. Pleasant efficient staff.

A group of 14, 8 adults and 6 children were staying in the nearby village of Carsington and we visited this restaurant several times for coffee, breakfast, and two lunches. Great views across the water, lovely food served VERY quickly by extremely helpful staff.
