After a long and rather damp walk around the Dam we headed towards a friendly looking pub which looked cozy and welcomed our dog 🐶. We ordered soup and steak pies. Soup was cold and had to be sent back - tasted like a packet...More

Great place for a countryside lunch. Decent pull pork sandwich and chunky chips. Well marinated pork. Rest of the family had the fish and chips and all had empty plates. Throughly recommend and the walk beside the pub

Nice pub just up the hill from the ladybower reservoir. Perfect stopping off place after a long walk up in the nearby peaks. That's what it was for me. Decent beers and very good food available at good prices. Worth a visit.
