Nice decor, friendly service, good food. Prawn cocktail and the scallops to start. Chicken tikka balti (very good) and fish (whale) and chips. Good portion size. Too full for deserts sadly.

Regular guests to hotel, weekly. Breakfast never the same when Diane isn’t working. Boiled eggs served in ramekins - they only have six egg cups! Have raised before with manager. C’mon guys, in every other way this is a very smart and super-friendly business hotel.

There was a Mexican buffet in addition to the a la carte the night we dined. We both had the buffet which had lots of choice.
had a curry that looked like soup in a bowl with chicken pieces in. Cheese board was basic and nothing special for £9.45. could have bought and made a better meal at home from Lidl or Aldi including wine for less than £20
