We pre booked meals for a busy Sunday lunch time but Lynn and her staff gave us a warm welcome and couldn't have been more helpful. My pie was crammed with tender meat, the chips were excellent, and the special cakes a real treat. Service was very efficient. Thank you for being part of our special weekend experience.

Last week, four of us visited The Three Roofs Cafe on two separate days for lunch. We all had a very good experience as there was plenty of seating, the staff were welcoming, the food was excellent and being on one level it was easy for my uncle with walking difficulties to get a seat. There is a wide range... More

The menu in this little place is fab. Lots of wonderful mouthwatering delights, I was spoilt for choice. I had one of the best salads I've ever had, Brie and bacon with sun dried tomatoes, all sorts of other salad and cranberry sauce, it was divine ! It has a lovely warm welcoming feeling, give it a try, I'm glad... More

Flat bread didn't have enough hummus with it. There were only two pieces of black pudding in the 'stack' however, both were delicious as were the accompanying salad & coleslaw. Would definitely stop here again.

Staff didn't welcome us as we came in despite three members having walked past us before we eventually asked if we had to wait to be seated. Slightly sarcastic response when we asked were the loo was. Tea and scones were nice but would not visit again due to the hospitality

Desserts before mains! Ordered 2 chicken & bacon stack sandwiches, Derbyshire tea (consisting if pot of tea with 2 scones, jam & cream) a can of pop and warm bakewell tart & custard. The drinks were brought swiftly to our table along with the warm bakewell & custard, I thought this a bit odd for the dessert to be brought... More

Kelly, we can only apologise that this was your experience on your recent visit to us, as we have over on Facebook too. This is not the type of service that we strive so hard to deliver. We were so busy over the Bank Holiday that this was obviously an oversight on our part. If only you had pointed this... More

Coffee and cakes ok. Outside seating area mainly in shade and on top of very busy roundabout entrance to main car park so completely lacking in any ambience and the interior didnt look scintillating . It's apparent popularity might be down more to its location than high quality fare and service which we found very average.

We decided to visit Castleton for breakfast on our way home from Sheffield as a treat. The full English breakfast we had at Three Roofs was very nice and value for money. The staff were friendly, welcoming and polite, the facilities lovely and clean. We have been here on other occasions whilst staying in Castleton and feel that the café... More

On our recent trip to the Peak District, we popped into this great cafe no fewer than three times! The first was just for ice cream after a hot and tiring walk, but the staff were so welcoming and the food looked so delicious that we decided to return for breakfast the following day. We called here for much needed coffee and cake after the Mam Tor ridge walk. There was a large selection of cakes and tarts including gluten-free options and the coffee was great. There was a wide selection of meals and snacks on the menu and it was very clean.
