We used Coleman's Deli to get lunch for our photo shoot crew for two days running and they were fabulous. Lovely dress ingredients, great salads with olives and sun dried tomatoes as well as leaves and a lovely coronation chicken-style coleslaw. Would definitely go straight back for lunch if we were in the area again. :-)

Good location, perfect to sit outside when weather is good. I've rated average because there is not a Good rating and to be fair with coffee and cake if it is not something exceptional when served at a deli, then it's an Average for me. The coffee was good, the cakes tasty. Service was helpful and pretty friendly. The young... More

We stopped by Colemans for lunch to take out again today - we regularly drive out from Sheffield to enjoy delicious panini's, cake & coffee! Our panini of choice today being chorizo, cheddar & onion marmalade - yum! We normally drive on to Stanage edge or another local spot to enjoy our lunch in the lovely countryside, perfect!

I had a lovely (gluten-free) sandwich lunch here - the eat-in option included a couple of salads with interesting twists (e.g. curried coleslaw) and the house salad came with dressing (which I don't often see in most cafes/restaurants). Customer service was great, especially from the perspective of a customer with dietary requirements - special care was taken in preparation of... More

A deli with some seating. Perhaps this place would benefit from a re-jigging of the interior as the seating is quite tight and random but there is outside seating as well. The food is very good with some excellent produce and quality coffees. A good place to stop and re-fuel. Or stock up for a picnic on the Peaks.

The other gem in the village. Good coffee - and I really mean GOOD coffee. A few things done really well, actually more than a few but you get the drift. Generous, flavoursome and fairly priced (the three musketeers of the cafe/deli world that don't always line up together). Oh yes and folks who love their work (enter D'Artagnan).

Paused here for a takeout flat white which was pretty good. Place itself was mainly full and looked popular. Staff were friendly. Mini flood in the toilet which was apparently an ongoing issue with condensation...

Colemans is a really friendly and relatively cheap cafe in Hathersage. The food is great and the service quick. Highly recommended if you want a decent sandwich and a piece of cake.

No wonder this is popular. We always call in when in Peak District as the coffee, cakes and sandwiches are unbeatable.
