Have eaten here twice recently. Each time I have been served by courteous staff and the food has arrived swiftly and has been really tasty. It is obviously not cordon bleu but it is great food for the price. I have sat both times in...More

Like most Weatherspoon pubs this had a good atmosphere filled with friendly staff with a great selection of drinks in a prime location.

I took my two children aged 16 and 8 here during xmas week so it was very busy. We had a meal here and it was good. Clean place and good friendly staff. Would come again for a meal.

My wife and I have until now visited the “Gresley” for breakfast regularly – rude not to as its a short stroll from home and right in the High Street shopping area. Its OK for a pub although I have seen previous posts including the...More

My partner and I visit this place on a regular basis, at least every 2 weeks for a couple of drinks and some local colour! The drinks are cheap, the food is prepared and I suspect partially cooked elsewhere but adequate. The best thing about...More

What it says on the tin - £6 for chicken chips and a pint, you can't go wrong. I've eaten the specials in here four nights a week on some occasions, and it is always a great bolthole when you can't be bothered cooking.

We go every week for Steak Night and it's a typical Wetherspoons. Can't argue with the prices, some weeks the food can be very good and some weeks it can be below average- but all in all not bad for a cheap and cheerful meal.
