Spent a week self-catering in Tideswell, and we ate here twice. Good food at reasonable prices. Much, much better than the chain pub a few hundred yards up the road...

We were a group of 10 and went here for a 60th, we mostly had the mixed grill and the pie, so food great, the ale was good and the folk friendly.

Ate here twice during our stay, very tasty and excellent service. Curry night on a Tuesday at £5 was very good value for money.

Spent two nights in this delightful Pub, with our Jack Russell. Clean, friendly, comfy beds, tidy room with en-suite. Breakfast fabulous, evening meals delicious. Would highly recommend it, hopefully we will visit again. Buxton, Matlock and Bakewell well worth visiting.

We were there in July 2017 and were able to view the menu beforehand by searching the name of the pub.
