A nice country pub, staffed by very friendly and helpful people. The Food: it's a carvery help yourself affair. We had the roast beef with all the trimmings, very good indeed and good value too.

There are plenty of seats outside and the garden is fenced all round so safe for kids. The restaurant... More

Having no understanding of the area we came across this lovely pub (as the boys were getting hungry!!) The staff were excellent, really welcoming and friendly, even the younger staff couldn't do enough for us! Table made up straight a... More

Our second visit to the Moor & Pheasant was on a Sunday around 5:30pm and not as good as when we were in a few months ago for Sudnay lunch. Meats were lovely and tender but the vegetables were over cooked, somewhat soggy. We also had to wait a long time to have our main course plates cleared and a... More

Best carvery my partner and I have had in an age. I am gluten free and could not have been looked after better. Great food. Lovely surroundings. Great staff. Amazing wine offer, French Chardonnay, beautiful. Fantastic choice of gluten free puddings...I was spoilt for choice. Went with the cheesecake and was not disappointed. Will be calling again when in the... More

Description
The Moor & Pheasant Country Pub & Carvery is open Wednesday to Sunday. We serve great value traditional roasts, family favourites like Steak & Ale pie and veggie curries along with a great selection of desserts to tempt those of you with a sweet tooth. Mains are all just £8.95 (Children's Portions £4.95), desserts are just £2.95, and we've a great value wine list to match so you can treat the whole family without breaking the bank! There's no need to make a reservation, however if you are planning to come with a larger group (above 6) it might be a good idea to call ahead so we can get a table ready for you. We always try to cater for those with allergies, however it is much easier if you can let us know before you visit as that gives us a chance to prepare something special!
