I was expecting a little more from a café in such an attractive park, however I was disappointed. It wasn't very busy either so goodness only knows what they would be like if... More

Met up with other family members and needed to have lunch , went into the quarryman's cafe , lovely warm welcome, food served attractively , kids had burgers which did seem to be homemade, adults had soup and jacket potatoes, delicious !!! And the soup was to die for, I would highly recommend the hot chocolate after a walk on... More

The park I give 5 stars- fabulous. But my one star is for the cafe. On arrival we were told our order would be 15 minutes. One hour later we still didn't have the sandwiches. 2 children sat and waited patiently but this is completely unacceptable. We asked twice and were told it's on its way. Just as we gave... More

We visited the park with our grandchildren on a wet grey day. This cafe had character - iy was a nice, interesting place to be. We were made welcome by friendly staff and the sandwiches we had were freshly made for us. Three lots of sandwiches and two pots of tea cost just over £12 which I think is value for... More

We decided to have our works Christmas dinner at the cafe, they were very accommodating and we had a very warm and festive welcoming. The food was impeccable and the portions were huge :) I got told that they made nearly everything on the menu even including the patè! Very impressed and would highly recommend

Second lunch here, what a treat! Well prepared fresh food, beautifully presented and very reasonably priced. Staff are attentive and helpful. Have decided to work my way through the menu!
