As others say, just basic food, not gourmet or fine dining. It;s probably what most tourists want - good basics and value burgers and fish n chips. The barra burger seems a must but is actually quite disappointing - a little barramundi but much more salad - would probably pick another dish next time. Smoothies are good and staff very... More

Not unpleasant and perhaps the best eating choice in Daintree Village but don't think gourmet, don't think past the old fashioned fish and chip shop hamburger with the lot together with BBQ sauce and served as plainly as it used to be 30 years ago. This cafe tries hard, it is a blast from the past, but if you just... More

We ate lunch here. It was okay. One lady serving and cooking, she was very pushed to be doing it all on her own. However another helper arrived which eased the burden a little. Our lunch was generous in size and tasty. Both of us had a filled bun. Bun was fresh and lots of filling.

This was a sweet little place for a family lunch, and we tried a few tropical fruits we had never tried before.

Not on my must do list and never will be. But then again when your out there you don't have a great choose of places to eat in, So expect low average and be happy if you get average

We didn't try the Barramundi, but we did have the homemade and unique icecream. Wattle seed (which tastes like coffee). Jaboticaba (tastes like Berries) and Banana which tastes like.. Banana! Yum. Friendly staff. Nice place to sit and chill out and eat Icecream!

Loved the big Barra. Didn't even know it existed. Happened upon it by chance. Very quaint little town, idyllic in all respects. The food was delicious and if you head this way at least take a look.

Stopped here for lunch with the family today. Staff were very friendly and the grilled barramundi was very fresh and served with lovely salad and an assortment of exotic fruit. It's also worth trying the sweet potato fries which were yummy! Kids enjoyed hot dogs and calamari.
