First of all, the view is not of a rainforest, it's a very untidy, ugly back yard. Secondly, in my opinion the food is expensive and not as good as a pub meal. Finally, my Tough T Bone took 40 minutes to come out and everybody else had finished eating. There was an apology and the waitress asked if I... More

What appeared at first sight to be a cafe with a view, sadly disappointed. Yes, it has a view of trees and tropical plants, rather than housing, but it's not spectacular at all and their Menu cards are dog eared and they have the audacity to charge an extra dollar for decaffeinated drinks, plus another dollar for skimmed milk. Why,... More

My friend had recommended this place and I enjoyed the nice atmosphere and the beautiful rainforest view! The food was good and staff very friendly!

We as four adults visited during a trip on the sky rail prior to boarding the Karunda rail. The food was disgusting, we ordered the open chicken sandwich which was a stale piece of white bread with a little chicken on smothered in cheese. A ham wrap, dry with processed ham and a little lettuce. This was presented with mayonnaise... More

From the outside this place looks lovely but I soon found out it was anything but. My husband and I both ordered seafood baskets what we received was half cooked chips, one piece of battered fish (the type you buy in a 6 pack from the frozen section at woolies), 4 deep fried prawns that had more batter on them... Dirty. I had a crocodile salad.....so it said. I think it was actually an old boiler. Kids had chicken nuggets....barely edible. Any very very expensive.

ate here in late April 2016 and the crocodile and kangaroo was over cooked. My daughter couldn't tell you if she was eating chicken or not. Other that were with us complained as well. Service was terrible. Owner was rude. Stay away from here

Yes I walked out. No fresh prawns in a creamy sauce dry second grade chips and a poor version of a salad. I was provided tomato sauce and tartare. I don't think this restaurant deserved a rating let only I don't think they know what a reef n beef is. I still paid the bill and didn't make a scene

Couldn't find a place our family could agree on (we were a bit over burgers and chips) so we ended up here hoping for more variety. Service was prompt but that was probably because we were the only people there. All the fillings on a sandwich are extra so my tuna with lettuce, tomato and avocado got a bit expensive.... More

The options for lunch are a little limited in Kuranda, and this place at least had nice views! The food was not bad, but wasn't very good either. My open faced chicken sandwich consisted of a thick slice of bread with a very thin spread of avocado (the menu noted avocado was one of the ingredients, so I'm assuming that's... More
