Enjoyed a very pleasurable lunch. Asian Fusion Style. Started with a Spicy Congee (complimentary), Bang Bang Chicken was a great entree as was the Pork Belly. Mains the Duck and Bug dishes were the most tasty but they were all good. The Choc Torte was good and for those continuing to enjoy the Asian themed dining, the Grapefruit and Coconut... More

Asian fine dining...excellent food, each course was delightful. From the congee starter, the taste of fresh garlic, ginger and chili made this dish enjoyable. For entree we had the pork belly and bang bang chicken. Both delicious. Mains were duck and bugs, both amazing. The environment is first class, with views of nature through the timber framed windows. A special... More

The Restuarant specialises in different types of modern Asian cuisine. We choose to share dishes so we were able to have a little bit of a range of dishes. Every dish was simply amazing and the presentation stunning. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Spicers Resorts obviously invest enormously in the quality of the restaurants within their retreats. Tamarind is no exception. The Asian inspired menu is skilfully executed with delicious dishes in either degustation or a la carte options. We chose the latter and none of the dishes served to our group of four could be faulted. If you live in the vicinity,... More

We ate here recently after a long absence and the food and service were fantastic. The staff did a really good job of looking after my need to eat gluten free, and there was a much appreciated (and subtle) recognition of our 20th weddiing anniversary. We chose the three course option and enjoyed it all.

WOW! This restaurant has a great atmosphere. We went there for Christmas Lunch, oh my, ever dish was an explosion of flavours, mouthful after mouthful. The Chef gave us an amuse to start which was a soup & the taste was phenomenal. We had the a la carte menu, thinking we'd be hungry from the small size of the meals... More

We dined at Tamarind restaurant as part of our stay at Spicers Tamarind Resort. There was a mix up regarding our pre-arranged special dietary needs, however this was handled very efficiently and considerately. The evening was extremely enjoyable and the food was delicious. Highly recommended!

Had not heard of Tamarind but based on Trip Advisor reviews decided on a visit. Well, what an excellent night! The food was delicious, service excellent ( friendly, prompt and lovely waitresses) and setting superb. Our taste buds were treated to the fresh and sublime flavored lime and lemongrass in green chicken curry to the deep rich beef rendang followed... More

The 3 course lunch was only $110p.p. plus drinks. We were quite surprised by this as anything owned by "Skroo" Turner of Flight Centre fame is usually a ripoff. We had Mooloolaba Prawns and Confit salmon for entrée followed by Roasted Moreton Bay Bug and Whole crispy snapper as mains. We topped it off with Sticky Black rice for dessert.... More
