We each chose two course option. I had the vegetarian, yellow curry tofu dish; my friend had the curried fish. We both enjoyed these. Desserts chosen were also excellent.

Drove out to Maleny after picking up our daughter from airport. Stopped for lunch at Tamarind. We wee seated in the large room with a couple of Christmas parties. When we asked to shift it was no problem and they apologised for noise and found us a quiet corner table in adjacent room. From the amuse bouche to the coffee... More

I confess to not being a great fan of food from this part of Asia, although I do like spices in cooking. We use a great variety all time at home. So although I agree this is good it does seem a little restricted in variety after a short time and I found myself wanting to go somewhere else (they... More

We were so looking forward to sitting in the garden with afternoon drinks enjoying the jazz music on a Sunday afternoon. The music was wonderful, drinks delicious, food very ordinary, certainly not five star standard, and the garden very comfortable and picturesque. However...... The stench of sewerage from the treatment plant behind the bushes meant we didn't stay long.

An Aussie chef who really knows his Thai cuisine (I lived there 3 years). I'm told they've recently added an Indonesian chef who knows his stuff too.

We were staying on site and had breakfast included. We waited an hour for our meal to arrive. Given how empty it was, took us by surprise. We were offered complimentary fruit platter when we first ordered and thank god as it barely tied us over.

Great food and staff. Our choice was the Modern Asian Degustation. Beautifully presented meals, enough of each dish to taste everything without the feeling of having over indulged. The staff explained very clearly what each dish was and asked as plates were removed if we enjoyed them. Great service.

With so many elements on each plate, the most discerning foodie will love the Tamarind experience. Seven of us enjoyed a very special Saturday evening dining here. We each had three courses. The meals are uniquely created and modern, with a salute to various Asian regions. Special mentions to: ~ Entrée - confit salmon, eggplant salad, quail ~ Main -... More
