Staying in Cairns, we decided to drive up to Cape Tribulation. We had an early start and thought we would get breakfast on the way. We'd read about The Junction and thought we'd try it. What a good decision. Lots of choice and great coffee. My breakfast wrap was delicious and filling. My wife had the toasted banana bread with... More

We had just been to the Mossman Gorge, and was in search of somewhere for lunch when we came across this little place and what a gem it is!! They had a lovely menu, different to what you'd expect in what is quite a remote area, so we were pleasantly surprised. Our two sons had the pulled pork burgers with... More

Good food and bevies can be hard to get in country areas. The foodie should savour them when they can, as the desert traveller revels in an oasis, so should you at a good country cafe. The Junction is perhaps the last oasis in FNQ, serving dishes such as BLT, BLAT and mushroom bruschetta with blue cheese and truffle oil.... More

After three days of pitiful food in Cape Tribulation it was so nice to stop here for breakfast. The Turkish eggs and quinoa porridge were both great. The coffee was excellent. The service was friendly. Breakfast here. Burgers at the pub in Daintree Village. Dinner at the Treehouse Restaurant. And just eat nothing in Cape Trib. That's my advice.

My regular go to coffee house and occasional Saturday morning breaky after a fruit & vege shop at the Mossman Markets. Delicious menu, Toby's Estate Coffee, friendly staff, comfy & homely atmosphere.

On the way up the coast, this is where we stopped for breaky. Service was quick and prices were decent. Nice little outdoor area for the morning sun although the aging furniture lets it down a little. Food was nice though.

"Mistaken Identity" Thankyou Annabanna K for taking the time to write a review on your recent breakfast experience, however your review and photo is not of my cafe "The Junction Cafe" in Mossman QLD. Your photo shows food that is not a representation of the style of breakfast menu my chef serves nor presents, we use only crisp white plates... More

Ate lunch here on our way through Mossman with the kids. Staff were super friendly. Nice atmosphere and the food was superb. Highly recommend this place. We had the sundaes, beef burger and the fritters. Massive serves and super tasty and fresh.

Well worth the stop on the way to the Daintree, especially for those who love a great cup of coffee! Service is excellent and there is a big range of cakes and breakfast choices if you havent eaten - especially the Laminations, best I've tasted by far!
