This isn't easy to find it is off W Bagley but sits back in a small strip center. It is a newer building very clean and nicely appointed. The bar seems to be always full! The food is very good. They bring out fresh baked...rolls with this olive oil balsamic blend. The Balsamic is really good very sweet. I had the gnocchi with Gorgonzola and shredded short rib. There wasn't a lot of short rib on it. The sauce was excellent. you can tell the gnocchi is home made. It wasn't melt in your mouth gnocchi but I enjoyed it. My spouse had the Lasagna. The Sauce was great, they make it with a sausage blend of meat serve it with lots of sauce and cheese. I tried the artichoke appetizer and wasn't thrilled with it. All in all we plan to go back and try more items. The food is better than most other Italian places with some original ideas.More

The past year has been really tough on independent restaurants. That's why my husband and I were so pleased that this jewel has survived. The food is delicious and the servings are generous. I recommend, well, just about everything on the menu! I'm especially fond...of their martini involving elderflower and prosecco. Like drinking a bouquet! Rolls are homemade, wedding soup is served hot and is the best I've ever had. Great place to meet friends. Pizza is out of this world here. I could go on and on, but you get the idea.More

We have been to JoJo Carloni’s several times and have never disappointed. We always get the mozzarella balls appetizer! The garlic cheese bread is also excellent. I usually get the Gnocchi Gorgonzola is usually what I order. It is so rich and smooth, but I...cannot usually finish the order and gave to take some home. Will continue to go back again in the future.More

I brought my grandsons here for lunch. The twins are 17 and have a great appetite and JoJo Carloni’s have the variety and portion size to satisfy them. We were greeted by the hostess as soon as we came through the door. The weather made...it inviting to sit on the patio. Our waitress, Lauren, greeted us shortly after we were seated. She brought all of us water and a chilled refill bottle. The boys had water and I enjoyed the raspberry iced tea. We started with calamari, Lauren came with just baked rolls and a dip mixture. I choose the large BYO - build your own pasta with Italian sausage on a serving of spaghetti. My grandsons ordered largo BYO Fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken and broccoli- Fettuccine Alfredo with meatballs (x2). Lauren refilled the water glasses and my iced tea while checking on how we were enjoying our entrees. She brought more rolls so we would not run out. My grandsons had to request take home containers. We all enjoyed great service and terrific food. Looking forward to coming back for another great meal and service.More

Due to Covid 19, we did not celebrate our 25th anniversary as we had planned going back to North Carolina where our friends stood up for us when we got married.. We decided to try somewhere new for a fresh start to our next year...so we chose a new restaurant we had never been to. We were greeted nicely and we asked to sit in the bar area. It was very Covid 19 friendly, but that didn't matter since we landed up being the only ones in the bar area for the majority of our stay. Erin M. was our barmaid and server and made the most delicious cocktails and choices of wine to pair with our dinner. We had a fun time with her. Jamie another server took our pictures, along with one with Erin to remember this special day for us. The meal was delicious. Erin made sure we had a special dessert to take home, a casada cupcake to share. It was definitely an afternoon to remember. Thank you Erin and Jamie! Carol and DaveMore

I have been here a few times. This place not only has great food, but you always feel like family when you return. The owner and his wife are so nice and very present in their business. You will see them greeting familiar and new...faces alike. They take “homemade” to a whole new level. Their Italian wedding soup is the best I’ve ever had. My kids love their little kids pizzas they get here (and they are really picky so I’m impressed). If you’re feeling like a good adult beverage they are not stingy with their pour ;). Definitely worth a visit if you haven’t been.More

Went here with relatives from out of town that were looking for great Italian food. Katie was our server and she was fantastic! She stopped by to give us all water while we were looking at the appetizer menu. While we were eating, she stopped...by mutiple times to see if there was anything that we needed. It was nice to have a server that actually intereacted with you and was not just the person that took your food and delivered it to the table when it was ready. Ordered the mozarella balls, garlic bread, and calimari from the appetizer menu. All of them were excellent and there was enough of each for everyone in our group of 5 to try each one. Ordered the gnocchi gorgonzola for dinner and it came with soup/salad and a delicious dinner roll. The sauce was very creamy and it was covered with crushed walnuts. The gnocchi was excellent and I had to take about half of it home as it was so rich. Others in our party had the lasagna and each of them enjoyed it very much. If you are looking for great Italian food in this area for a reasonable price, skip the chain place just down the street and seek out Jo Jo Carloni's!!!! You will not be disappointed.More

Took my husband here for his birthday and sat at a high top in the bar area. The cozy atmosphere was warm and inviting and we were happy to find they had and all day happy hour on Mondays. Our server was excellent...she was friendly...and attentive to our needs. The food was fantastic! Especially the crispy artichoke appetizer. Our food came out promptly and how impressed my husband was on how hot and delicous his broccoli was... broccoli never stays warm. They have a great patio that we are looking forward to visiting this summer. Will definately return.More
