We dine here often. It has a great home town atmosphere. I think I’ve eaten everything on the menu through the years. I like it all. The beers are great. The service is wonderful, even when they are very busy. A great place to grab...a beer and bite before a Baldwin Wallace Conservatory concert.More
Stopped for dinner after a day visiting the area. The place was a little hard to get to and on street parking a little limited but okay. No waiting. The service was average. The burgers were very good as well as the wrap and pub...chips. The menu also had pizza and salads. The place seemed like it could stand some cleaning and remodeling. Overall it was okay and I wouldn't be opposed to returning.More
Went in for dinner and the meal and service was good as always. The beer titled 31/2 was good. A little lighter than the 7. I had the Turkey Bacon Wrap which was good as always. Cornerstone is always a good choice.
Never been to this location before, but stopped here on a Thursday night for some drinks since we were in the neighborhood. Restaurant/bar was not busy, but had a handful a patrons. We sat at the bar, which was filthy, and watched as 3-4 employees...behind the bar completely ignore us. Finally we had to speak up to get someone's attention and they responded with "are you new here??" Very unprofessional and unwelcoming. Slammed our drinks and left. No reason to ever go back.More
Went for dinner around 7 and sat at the bar. Jay was our bartender and server. I had to ask for water many times and my glass was always empty. We had to ask another server for water. I got the ipa on tap and...it wasn’t very good.
After we had been seated for some time, Jay asked us to get up off our seats and move down the bar. I was shocked. It was so rude and not very friendly. Maybe jay should stick to brewing a better beer.
Food was tasty but the service was horrible and unwelcoming. We won’t be going back.More
Nancy and I are on a "Beer Run." Our intention over the next three or four days is to hit as many brew pubs as we can find on our way to the Bell's Brewery in Kalamazoo, MI. Before I retired in 2011 I had...visited the Cornerstone a number of times, Nancy had not, so when we decided to head to Bell's this was definitely a must stop for me. The food is always good as is the beer. I have not been in the place since sometime before 2011, but it has not changed. Just a lovely place for brews and food.More
Started with a angry gorilla as my beer of choice very tasty. Went with the Bavarian pretzel with start. My wife followed it up with the mahi mahi wrap the sauce was a little bit too spicy for her but went with regular ranch on...the side delicious. The side was the coleslaw you can't go wrong there. I went with a cornerstone Burger cooked perfectly delicious side of Fry's everything was fantastic service is great very personable.More
I had been to the restaurant in the past with family and friends and was pleased with the experience. I stopped for a sandwich and beer solo after a long day of traveling and business meetings. I ordered chicken noodle soup, reuben and fries and...a pint of sandstone beer. Everything was delicious. The soup was thick with large chunks of chicken and noodles in a nice broth. The reuben was enormous and piled high with corned beef - it was a little too greasy but otherwise delicious. The portion of fries was huge and they were excellent - much better than your average pub. My server was friendly, prompt and helpful. The sandstone draft is my favorite of their brews.More
