This was our first time in the Berlin area, therefore were unsure of where to eat. So pleased we ordered here for take out. Food was delicious! My husband got the meatloaf sandwich - meatloaf was extremely tasty, and not at all like cheaper versions you get in other restaurants. I had the steak teriyaki. Meat was very tender, and... More

If you are in the mood for a real home cooked succulent meal and are tired of GMO meats & produce, want to get back to farm fed and natural products? This is the place to be. Farm Fresh! Yes! Plenty of options to choose from if you're hungry for the buffet , in the mood for. A salad or... More

Might have caught them on a bad night, but the buffet was filled with over baked chicken, Turkey and ham. Found none of it very edible. I would also advise against trying any of their "pudding" options because they are nothing more than leftover pies with whipped topping mixed in. I guess because they are Amish there is no board... My understanding is that there are three of these restaurants in the Millersburg, Berlin, Ohio area. We tried 2 of them, one for dinner and one for breakfast. Both were excellent choices. Must say the breakfast was my favorite. Gotta try the homemade donuts and the fried mush. Didn't know what it was at first, but it was pretty good.... More

This large family restaurant is owned by the Der Dutchman group, so expect good food quality, variety, service, and prices. There is a buffet available; it is a good value. You can order just the salad portion of the buffet if you prefer. Family style service is available. Everything I tried was excellent. I think of a much fancier place... More

stopped to eat when we were camping in amish country, this is my first time eating here and overall it was a good experience, the buffet is what you would expect at a amish restaurant the pie is great would recommend if in area but be prepared for a wait if around popular eating times

The food was okay. Nothing grand. Had the buffet, I feel that for the price, there should be more of a selection and dessert bar.

Our family was staying in Berlin and decided to have breakfast here since it was closer than going to Der Dutchman in Walnut Creek. We all agreed that although it was good, it just wasn't as good as Der Dutchman even though they are part of the same corporate group and supposed to be pretty much the same. It wasn't... More

Dear tccan, Thank you for taking the time to come out, and try us at the Farmstead Restaurant. You mentioned in your previous review on here, that your last visit here with us, was good but not as good as Der Dutchman's. I know you mentioned later on in the review that there also wasn't as much of a selection... More
