The food is delicious but has to much beans and not enough meat or chicken. I liked the food but it was overpriced and meals were small relative to price.

I have eaten at El Zarape many times and have always enjoyed whatever I have ordered. Locals eat here often. They start with chips and homemade salsa (which is wonderful.) If you like margaritas, theirs are the best! They have several vegetarian options in addition to meat dishes. I would highly recommend the shrimp fajitas with fried ice cream for... More

After attending the USGA state gymnastics meet at BGSU we wanted Mexican for dinner and it was recommended we go to El Zarape as it was close and they said the food was good. Luckily we got there before 5:00 and we were seated right away. A couple of us had the chicken and beef fajitas, some had burritos and... More

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Their guacamole is fabulous with affordable Lunch specials and delicious chimichanga .

Came here with my daughter for dinner during her college tour - it was SOOOO GOOOD. The chips and salsa were amazing, and my Chicken Enchiladas may have been the best I've ever had. If you are in the area you MUST try this restaurant. Our entire dinners (and a beer) were under $30!

We have a mediocre Mexican restaurant in Fostoria, I certainly did not need to drive to BG to have it. Unfortunately, that's what I got. It started well, as we were seated quickly. However, that would be the highlight of the night here. Piss warm beer followed by boring chips and salsa and finally steak fajitas that were already done... More

My colleague and I walked over from the hotel in the snow and got seated right away. The service was top notch and the food was good too. We'll definitely be back!!
