Our friends from Indianapolis joined us for a day of adventure. We capped off the day with a late dinner at the Polaris Grill. This was our first visit. Vanessa, our server was efficient and helpful. We ordered from the regular menu, there was a special New Years menu. I was happy to have more choices than a special holiday... More

This was my 2nd visit to the restaurant. Had the 50/50 salad, loved the dressing. The Halibut was scrumptious. The lighting was a bit too dark for my liking, could have raised the dimmer just a tad. Had to use my cell phone to look at the menu. But, the food and company made up for the dim room.

Two couples ,long time friends, dined 11/22/16 at this fine establishment. The greeting was prompt as was the seating. Drinks were fine and plentiful. Dinners included sauteed walleye, salmon oscar, shrimp and scallop fettucini alfredo, wild mushroom soup and the "55" salad. All were excellently prepared and served. We were left alone to converse among ourselves in a quiet main dining... More

A lovely menu and wine list. I had the best piece of prime rib that I've had in a long time. A very generous cut and prepared exactly to my liking. Service was wonderful and it was an enjoyable dinner for the six of us. The sea bass on the menu was ordered by one of my friends and he... More

I ordered a Prime Rib sandwich and my friend ordered one of their salads. Both agreed one of the best meals we have ever eaten! To make our experience even better, our waitress was wonderful and the entire staff was very accommodating. We will be back!

Group of 8 celebrating a birthday. Called 7 days before for a 7pm Friday night reservation.... see you then! Most of the group hadn't been to the Polaris Grill before. All said they will be back. Big hits were the Prime Rib (the featured entree) Veal Basil, and the Linguine New Orleans. Raves for the Butternut Squash soup and the... More

I last reviewed the Polaris Grill in August 2014 and most of my original review is still true today. This is a nice place for a nice quiet meal. It's not as noisy or as bustling as many of the Polaris Parkway area restaurants and is a a little more of a "finer dining" place than many of the chains... More

I wanted something light so I went for the Mixed Berry Salad and had blacken shrimp added. I chose wisely – delicious. I also ordered Penny’s Bourbon Cider which added an apple flavor to the berry tastes. Laura, my waitress, was friendly, attentive, and made an excellent meal suggestion. Quiet, soothing atmosphere. Walked from the Hampton Inn. A nice evening.

I had dinner with four business associates. We were seated promptly ; drink order placed and served timely. No rush for taking dinner orders-- we ordered a diverse group of dinners and all were good. Save room for homemade desserts. I would come again.

Had dinner here not long after arriving in our hotel after a day's drive from Williamsburg. It was in easy walking distance of our hotel. We were very pleased with our experience here. We were greeted pleasantly, asked if we preferred a booth or table & chairs. We opted for a booth. We were quickly seated and our waitress appeared... More
