We LOVED Katzinger's!! The barrel of pickles was awesome. The garlic pickles were amazing! The sandwiches are huge and worth every penny. The service was great and we were able to try a few new dishes. Will be back when we visit Columbus again!

Are you craving a really great sandwich? Head over to Katzingers. Order 1 sandwich and split it. Plenty of food. Enjoy

Sanwiches are very good - certainly not skimpy. Large selection, something for everyone. Deli salads are inviting and the ingredients are fresh and tasty.

Great German deli in the heart of German Village. Wide variety of food to select from. The service was great, prices reasonable and you get a free pickle you chose from a barrel while you wait for your order.

This is a first class deli. Outstanding breads play host to many flavorful combinations of deli meats which melt in one's mouth delicious.

We had been walking through Germantown and we needed a quick place to eat before heading to the Columbus airport. After checking tripadvisor we found this Deli. Fortunately we arrived just before the dinner rush, though it still took them 15 minutes to prepare our...More

Fun place and great location. Interesting things to buy and eat. The Reuben was the best I have EVER had!!!!! I couldn't eat more than half, so enjoyed the other half back home in California the next day. It was still just as good!!! They...More

A very busy place so plan ahead. Marvelous rye bread, fresh dressings, nice meats. Had the belly balancer. Potato salad was basic but good. Did not bond with either of the free pickle flavors. Good root beer in a can. Nice staff. Bakery items to...More

The killer club is tied for the best sandwich there. It runs hand in hand with their Ruben. Big sandwiches no need to order the bigger version. My only qualm would be that the pickles lack a crunch when eating them. They were a bit...More

I stumbled upon Katzinger's Delicatessen by chance and absolutely loved it. On a Sunday afternoon, even way past lunch time they were full of people. I ordered number 1 with hot corned beef and 16 with tuckey breasts. Both were delicious! and the pickles offered...More

They serve breakfast all day. They are open 9-8 on the weekends and 10-8 on weekdays. Their bagel with salmon and cream cheese deserves a try.

Description
Katzinger's Delicatessen - Family owned and operated since 1984! Our sandwiches are really big - HUGE in fact. We know some of you can't eat that much so we also offer a smaller sandwich - we refer to it as Normal. All sandwiches come with a free help-yourself-from-the-pickle-barrel dill. Choose from traditional "old" or garlicky "new". And we offer plenty of freshly prepared-to-order salads and desserts to tempt you, too. You should leave Katzinger's wanting to come back again - and soon! We're very proud of our food - Black Angus corned beef prepared by Sy Ginsburg's United Meat and Deli using Sy's special secret ingredient ( many, many tons later and he still won't tell us what it is!)...Chickens raised by Amish families at Gerber Farms... Imported Emmentaler, the original Swiss cheese... Breads made especially for us and delivered daily by Mediterra Bakehouse in Pittsburgh and we hand slice every loaf... Bagels from Sammy's delivered fresh daily... Gluten free bread from Eban bakery of Grove City . Our mayo is Hellmann's. We oven roast our turkeys to moist perfection. We dress our roast beef with lots of garlic and rosemary and roast it to a beautifully pink medium rare. We marinate our brisket for 48 hours before slow roasting to fork tenderness. Our chicken, tuna and egg salads are made with memorable recipes. These are just a few of the fine ingredients we use to create the deli foods of Katzinger's Delicatissen.
