The coffee is fantastic, the fruit tea exceptional and the cinnamon buns wonderful. But the real highlight are the chocolates - even in a big city it would be difficult to find such an exceptional quality - craftsmanship in perfection! Makes addicted!

We stopped for a quick lunch and like many of the Svalbard houses this one is a lot nicer on the inside than on the outside. We had a ciabatta and water, simple as that, food was good and obvious that they are quality aware

We had a nice afternoon coffee at Fruene. They have a wide selection of pastries (one gluten-free option) and tons of homemade chocolate confetti/truffles. Delicious drinks and great price-quality ratio (especially if compared to the Mainland Norway!). Wonderful ambiance.

It seems like a place for both locals and tourists. They have tasty freshly made sandwiches and delicious cakes. They also produce their own chocolate. "The World's northernmost chocolaterie" which is quite good. Beside being a cosy café shop they sell homemade soaps, chocolates and...other types of home iterates which are good options as a gift to loved ones.More

Really cute little cafe in Lompen senteret, always seems quite busy. A nice selection of lunch dishes and they have a liquor license so you can get a glass of house wine for only 55kr with your toastie! They also do their own chocolate and...have a big selection of gift boxes - with chocolates or homemade soaps etc.More

Top quality soups, salads and cakes in the centre of Longyearbyen (and served for lunch/dinner if you're on a Better Moments tour), served in a pretty, cosy cafe with outdoor seating too. Well worth a visit. Texas cake (chocolate) was delicious!

Very recommended! Delicious pastry and coffee, nice interior, good service. Wide range of tea and coffee kinds. Amazing chocolate and cakes - you have to try sweet little chocolate bear! Will be back for sure during my next stay in Longyearbyen. Place totally worth the...walk from Nybyen ;) You can even meet the reindeer on the way! :DMore
