Very disappointing visit today. We had previously visited and had a great experience so we returned hoping for more of the same. Sadly today's stop did not meet expectations - staff were unhelpful and one was actually quite rude. We won't be going back.

There can be no excuse for un-helpfulness and rudeness, I'm sorry that this happened. I can understand why you say you won't come back, but I'm confident that our team put customers first, so would love you to give us another chance.

Four of us had breakfast here. What a fab place. I had a gorgeous cappuccino to start and a traditional English breakfast which consisted of 2 rashers of maple cured bacon, 2 local sausages, button mushrooms, scrambled egg, tomatoes, hash brown and granary toast. It...More

We came across this Farm Shop/Deli/ Restaurant whilst returning from a visit. On the first occasion we ate lightly but well, so revisited last Sunday. I had the Roast Beef, my wife a Mushroom Risotto. Both meals arrived quite quickly, were well presented and beautifully...More

James, thank you for your positive review, the full English is very popular, all products sourced locally or off our farm, tomatoes and mushrooms the exception.

We popped in for a browse round the farm shop and some coffee with a cake. When we got out of our car we couldn't believe the stink outside. Turned out to be the cesspit right next to where we had parked. The coffee was...More

John, Thank you for your balanced review, service, coffee & cakes all positive. Disappointing feedback about the croissants as we are supplied daily by our supplier, so will keep an eye out for this going forward. With regards the smell the local farmer has been...More

They are welcome in the garden where there is plenty of seating. Not in the shop or restaurant due to food availability in the shop.

Description
The restaurant You can eat under the ceiling of the massive eighteenth-century oak barn or, if it's warm, amongst the flowers in our garden, a place of serenity and calm that's good for the soul. The Butchery All of the Angus-sired beef, lamb, chicken, geese and turkeys on the butcher's counter have been raised organically at our farm. The rare breed, outdoor reared pork is sourced locally. The Deli You will find many of the best British artisan cheeses, organic salami and a choice of food from our kitchen. The Shop We have a zest for sourcing producers who reflect our own ideals, for whom quality and provenance count. The wine is selected in conjunction with Fields, Morris and Verdin, the wholesale distributors for Berry Bros and Rudd.
