Popped in for an early dinner, what a great place! Lovely staff, great atmosphere, very festive. Great food, reasonably priced, with a Greek Theme. Very good pint for the real ale drinkers. 80ft deep well in one room, don't look down if you had a few too many drinks! Dog friendly, and a couple of pub cats, which is great... More

Staff were welcoming and friendly. We came for Sunday lunch and head booked a table. Drinks were served fairly quickly and there was a good range available. We were a group of six and all ordered the Sunday roast, two lamb and four beef. All were served on cold plates. The lamb was quite good, the beef was tough. Vegetables... More

The day before Valentine’s Day we were on our way to a weekend by the sea and came across this lovely pub in Whatlington. We were three adults and two toddlers of 1 and 4 years and, of course, the place was packed. However, when I mentioned that we had small children with us, the owner offered us the conference...
