A pleasant welcome, with friendly locals. Consistently good food and service 'home made cooking, hot, fresh and tasty'. Dogs are welcome. A nice place to stop after a walk (behind the pub). Nice to see there are some quaint old pubs left in this area....More

We enjoyed a delicious mid-week lunch here where the staff were friendly and the food was very good. My idea of a traditional English pub lunch! Excellent menu with tempting specials.

Bar staff and owner were all friendly, and the food - a chicken, ham and leek pie for me, hake for my wife - was very tasty.

Always a warm welcome at the Old Vine; great country location, inviting surroundings and delicious food. Recently spent a glorious summer evening outside, listening to live jazz with many others, soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying the barbecue.
