The food from here has always been good and we have always enjoyed the fish. Not really a great deal you can say about Smiths but so far we have not been disappointed.
At last i have found a fish and chip shop near me worth travelling to. The fish was cooked file i waited and by cod it was worth waiting for. very tasty and as for the chips!!! Perfect.
family fish and chips recently, eat in, good quality, good service, very tasty food, battered fritters for pudding was lovely to finish the meal off
Always a warm welcome and a decent quality meal from Smiths. Us Northerners like our fish with the 'skin off' and we always get our wish granted without a grumble. Portion size good too
I've eaten here so many times that when we walk in the door they start cooking two haddock and bring the cokes. Lovely fish and chips and friendly, efficient staff. Always willing to cook fresh too.
