Everything is average, no complaints, standard fair without flair, reasonably cheap. Have been a few times if cant be bothered to cook and price reflects what you get. So its OK nothing further to say.

Sunday lunch with the family. Excellent time had by all. Food was, hot, tasty, and a good portion. Service was second to none and really made the occasion.

Yes, the garden is a good area for children (though noisy, it's right next to the A12)

The Duke of Wellington is a busy pub in the heart of Hatfield Peverel. It is just 7 miles outside Chelmsford, and the perfect place for anything from a light lunch to a three course dinner.
